Level I & II Reiki: Energetic Concepts of Mind and Body

During Beaumont's Level I & Level II Reiki Training class, participants will experience an increased awareness of their physiological stress reactions and be able to utilize Reiki for their own stress-reduction and self-care. They will also learn how to facilitate Reiki Therapy for others and experience the benefits of receiving treatment. Participants will understand the clinical evidence for Reiki Therapy and gain awareness of the research supporting its use in patient care.

2023 September Class Dates

• Registration Deadline: September 7
• Wednesday, September 20 from 6 - 9 p.m. via Zoom
• Saturday/Sunday, September 23 and 24 from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the Royal Oak Beaumont Campus

Key Learning

During the Level I & Level II Reiki Therapy Training, participants will:

• Learn relevant medical/scientific terms and concepts and the underlying principles and therapeutic mechanisms of Reiki therapy
• Understand the physiology of stress and its role in disease
• Evaluate mindful techniques and discuss relationship to Reiki therapy
• Evaluate the science behind the health benefits of breathwork and its role in self-care and Reiki therapy
• Perform a self-Reiki session to observe its use as a tool for stress reduction and self-care
• Recognize the standard self-Reiki treatment protocol
• Summarize research studies noting statistically significant results with Reiki treatment
• Review the chakra model of the energy system and how it translates to allopathic medicine
• Understand the impact of emotions and trauma on health and emotional releases during Reiki
• Discuss how to present and perform Reiki Therapy in the medical setting
• Understand the importance of maintaining one’s energy when facilitating for others
• Learn types of pain, common causes of pain, and the use of Reiki for the treatment of pain
• Demonstrate and receive demonstration of a chair Reiki treatment sequence
• Perform and experience a complete Reiki Therapy treatment
• Learn the Reiki Level I and Level II symbols and interpret use
• Experience Level I and Level II attunement

Level I & Level II Class Pre-requisites

• Tuition includes one complimentary Reiki Treatment session provided at either Royal Oak/Troy Integrative Medicine prior to the start of class for discussion purposes.
• Students must read: “The Art of Being a Healing Presence” by James E Miller/Susan C Cutshall prior to the start of class.
• Students will be provided research articles to be read prior to the start of class.

Level I & Level II Class Tuition: $449*

Cancellations made more than two weeks prior to class will receive a $50 penalty. No refunds will be issued if cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to the start of class. Participants may transfer their registration to the next offered Reiki Training, Level I & Level II class for a 10% processing fee. Refunds will NOT be issued for transferred registrations.

Level III Reiki Therapy Training: Connecting the Mind, Body and Spirit

Participants will acquire a deeper understanding of the mind, body and spirit connection of Reiki and how to incorporate it when facilitating Reiki for others.   

November Class Dates

• Registration Deadline: October 16
• Saturday/Sunday, November 4 and 5 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Royal Oak Beaumont Campus

Key Learning

During Level III Reiki Therapy Training, participants will:

• Dive deeper into the endocrine glands and the chakra system
  
• Discuss the energy system and how it may influence sense of self
  
• Learn how to treat patients that experience trauma
  
• Share insights and lessons learned from Reiki treatment practice sessions
  
• Learn the difference between: Service vs. Helping – the spiritual level of Reiki
  
• Discuss case studies and energy concepts
  
• Learn Master Level Reiki symbols
  
• Practice advance techniques in small groups
  
• Experience a chakra awareness guided meditation and Level III attunement

Level III Class Pre-requisites

• Students must complete Beaumont's Level I & Level II class
• Students must read: “Living the Reiki Way: Reiki Principles for Everyday Living” by Penelope Quest
• Students will be provided research articles to be read prior to the start of class
• Students are asked to complete 20 Practice Reiki Treatment Sessions. Treatment log provided by Beaumont

Level III Class Tuition: $365

Participants may transfer their registration to the next offered Reiki Training, Level III class for a 10% processing fee. Refunds will NOT be issued for transferred registrations.

Students that are interested in completing all three levels of training and wish to take advantage of a discount, can register for both classes (Level I & II Reiki: Energetic Concepts of Mind and Body and Level III Reiki:  Connecting the Mind, Body, and Spirit) at the same time.

Advanced Reiki Concepts for Level III Practitioners

• Registration Deadline: August 3
• Sunday August 13 from 9am- 4pm at the Royal Oak Beaumont Campus

Key Learning

During Advanced Reiki Concepts, participants will:

• Discuss advanced concepts in Mind-Body Medicine
• Learn new hands-on techniques
• Discuss groundbreaking energy research and case studies
• Learn Tibetan energy symbols

Advanced Reiki Class Pre-requisites

• Students must be a graduate of Beaumont's Reiki III class

Advanced Reiki Class Tuition: $139
